I am a DJ / Producer of 16 years who goes under the name Warped Project. I've held many residencies throughout the UK and currently have a weekly radio show on www.techno.fm. After the millennium I began learning turntablist skills which in turn opened my eyes to the many different ways we are able to manipulate music live. My philosophy when mixing is to remain creative at all times and attempt to stamp my mark on everything I play... These DJ courses reflect this ensuring you are aware of your equipments capabilities and of the many different mixing tricks you can use to compete with any professional DJs.

These DJ courses have been put together as an alternative to often very costly and time restricted college DJ courses. DJ courses are usually held at music colleges and work by providing different areas of interest that you can choose from. Its often the case that courses are squeezed into a tiny amount of time ranging between four hours and a weekend with fees often in excess of £350 for a short course!! My main concern with these courses isn't really the fees charged, its the time students are allowed to develop their skills. It took me around six months to develop my scratching skills, so I'm not confident that others could do it in four hours!!
