DJ Tutorials was created by The Warped Project back in 2006 when he brought his 20 years of DJing and music production experience to this project. The Warped Project has held many residencies and DJed at venues worldwide.

My philosophy when mixing is to remain creative at all times and attempt to stamp my mark on everything I play... These DJ courses reflect this ensuring you are aware of your equipments capabilities and of the many different mixing tricks you can use to compete with any professional DJs. Remixing and music production is another way to isolate yourself from other DJs, by making your own unique remixes and new tracks you can add to the over all sound of your sets. The DJ and music production courses on this site have been put together as an alternative to the often very costly and time restricted courses at DJ training centres worldwide. These courses are often squeezed into tiny spaces of time which can be the most precious resource when learning new skills. How do you develop new DJ skills without the time to practice?

As an example I needed six months to develop my scratching skills and would have struggled if i had to go through all the techniques in just one weekend... College and staffing costs also ensure fees for courses can be expensive, in the UK they start from around £350 easily moving into thousands. (The Warped Project, 2007)

So here is our solution! We offer a range of courses which cover the same skills which are taught in DJ training centres. Our courses have been produced by The Warped Project who has the same skills and experience as most other DJ trainers. The courses are downloadable with important information taught through text, diagrams and video.
